Security Clearances & FATS3

National Security Checks

Glue Reply is required to have security clearances for a large number of our team. This means that they have all passed the Security Check (SC) for people employed in posts which have substantial access to SECRET assets or occasional controlled access to TOP-SECRET assets. This prevents delays in commencing work for the MoD as clearance can take many months to secure through the appropriate checks.

The Framework Agreement for Technical Support (FATS)

Glue Reply are pleased to be an MOD FATS3 listed supplier of specialist IT consultant services.

The Framework Agreement for Technical Support (FATS) has been developed to procure Technical Support more effectively. Technical Support is defined as ‘the provision of applied technical knowledge’ and includes Technical Studies, Project Support, and Engineering Support.

Participating suppliers of FATS have mapped their capabilities across the FATS Technology Taxonomy and this information is available to the Acquisition Community via a software tool called the Market Knowledge Matrix (or MKM).

FATS provides a fast and efficient contractual route to procuring Technical Support using a standard Tasking Form together with pre-agreed terms and conditions, rates and discounts.

What is FATS used for?

  • Enterprise architecture, incorporating the information and data architecture domains
  • Data management & data governance
  • Business and technology change management processes, roadmaps and competencies
  • Business design and process management initiatives
  • SOA and integration architecture, methods and platforms
