Glue Reply has been involved in a range of supply chain optimisation projects including, developing a supplier collaboration solution for a global CPG company, undertaking a change impact assessment for a global supply network redesign and a number of integration projects including, extended value chain integration.

Industry proposition overview

The change impact assessment exercise was carried out for a UK based retailer that is making fundamental changes to the structure of its supply chain. The changes were being carried out in response to pressures facing many retailers and CPG companies; international expansion, a desire to have a single supply chain for product sold in shops and through direct channels, more frequent range changes and more globally sourced products.

Through our combined skills in business and applications architecture we were able to help our client to understand the true business impact of the planned changes to the supply network design. In particular we highlighted the changes that needed to be made to upstream and downstream systems and processes, to ensure that the changes to the design of the supply chain were able to deliver the desired results.
